What should an individual practice upon after being told that one specific Hadith is not okay for practice, although others have said that it is okay to practice upon?
The Hadith I’m referring to is the one you posted regarding the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah, fasting a day being equivalent to fasting a year and praying at night is equivalent to the worship of the Night of Qadr.
My question is what should one practice upon when he hears two conflicting answers, also why is it that there is such a huge difference of opinion on the grading of Hadiths?

To avoid confusion, one should stick to the view of those on whom one has confidence.
The gradings of the Hadiths is a field that is indeed open to difference of opinion, like is the case with the issues of Fiqh (Jurisprudence).
In the rulings of jurisprudence, we generally stick to the rulings of one reliable mufti.
The general masses are encouraged to do the same in the field of Hadith. i.e, stick to one reliable view.
