‘Umar’s (radiyallahu ‘anhu) statement regarding a woman who has abundant garments

Is this statement authentically attributed to Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu)?

“Sayyiduna ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said “Verily, when a woman has garments in abundance [more than she requires and more than what is the norm] and she loves adornment, then she will love khuruj [emergence from the home to prowl around in the public domain to show off her clothing].”

Answer

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah (rahimahullah) has recorded this statement of Sayyiduna ‘Umar ibn Al Khattab (radiyallahu ‘anhu). Hafiz Ibn Kathir (rahimahullah) has cited this narration from ‘Allamah Abul Qasim Al Baghawi (rahimahullah) and has declared the chain authentic (sahih).
