Please provide me with any Hadith regarding Salatut Tawbah.

Answer

Hereunder are Hadiths on this topic:

1) Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said, I heard Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) saying, “No person commits a sin and then makes wudu properly, offers two rak’ahs of Salah then seeks forgiveness except that Allah will forgive him. The he recited the Verse ‘Those who when they act indecently or wrong themselves they remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their bad actions and who can forgive sins except Allah?’ [Surah Alu ‘Imran, Verse: 135).

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 1516, Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 406 and 3006 with slight variation in the wording)

2) Sayyiduna Abud Darda (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports, Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever makes wudu properly, then offers two rak’ahs of Salah or four rak’ahs [The narrator was unsure], remembers Allah Ta’ala with full concentration and then seeks forgiveness, will be forgiven.”

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 6 pg. 450)

‘Allamah Nawawi (rahimahullah) writes, ‘There are three conditions for one’s tawbah to be accepted; The person should desist from the sin, regret perpetrating the sin and make a firm intention never to repeat the sin.

(Sahih Muslim with Al Minhaj, Hadith: 205)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
