It is said that Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) was told even though Allah reduced the number of Salahs from fifty (50) to five (5), the Ummah would get the reward of fifty. Please cite the Hadith that backs this up and if it is authentic?

This is mentioned in the famous Hadith of Mi’raj in Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 349, and is therefore authentic.
