A follow up query on the reward of making fifty tawaf

I came across a Hadith regarding the reward of making fifty tawaf, a person will be free of sins. My question is, does this have to be completed in one trip or over a few visits?

Answer

The commentators explain that this means fifty tawaf in one’s lifetime; fifty tawafs recorded in one’s book of deeds.
