AOA… i want to know is TAWEEZ halal in islam? and what sort of it is halal and haram

It is permissible and correct according to the Shari’a to give, take or wear Tha’weez (Amulet). However it is impermissible and Haram to use such amulet which contains wordings of Shirk, or incomprehensible wordings or that which in itself is considered to be effective (beware! it is Allah Tha’ala who puts the effect on Tha’weez and nothing is there in itself). It is necessary to refrain from these types of amulets whereas in various Sacred Ahadees, permissiblilty of using correct Tha’weez is established as explained below.
