Q: Can you please provide me with more information regarding the use of taweez (amulets)? Is it permissible to wear a taweez and to apply in water and oil to use as a means of shifaa (cure)?
A: The use of a Ta’weez is permissible as long as the person has the correct belief; that the Ta’weez can have no effect except with the permission of Allah Ta’aala and the actual doer is Allah.
The same applies to water and oil. All these are permissible to use.
