The virtue of a Scholar over a worshipper

What is the authenticity of this narration?

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that on one occasion mention was made of two people before Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), one was a worshipper [‘abid] and the other was a scholar. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“The virtue of the scholar over a worshipper is like my virtue over the lowest among you”

Thereafter Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Indeed Allah, His Angels and all those in the heavens and the earth continue to make du’a for the one who imparts good to the people, to the extent that even the ant in its hole and the fish make du’a.”
