Asalamualaikum, I am a Ma’zurah for constant liquid discharge, and the discharge looks the same as mathi and semen liquid, which makes it hard to differentiate between them, but if I wake up at night for tahajjud and do not remember a wet dream I do not need to make ghusl. But do I need to remove the liquid discharge that I have on my clothing before praying?
Jazakumullahukhairan
Answer
Wa’alaykum as Salām wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,
In all circumstances, it will be best to wash off the impurity.
However, if the impurity is less than the size of the soft part of your palm (around 2,75 cm in diameter), then a prayer with that impurity will be valid, although it is Makruh.
If the impurity is the size of the soft part of your palm (around 2,75 cm in diameter) or more, then it will be incumbent to wash it. The prayer with that impurity will not be valid.
And Allaah Ta’aala knows best
Wassalaam,
Ismail Moosa (Mufti)
