Different fiqhs in Islam

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Fatwaa.com

Aslam alikum

I have a question regarding imam jafar al sadiq (ra) , imam zain ul abideen (ra) and imam zain ibn ali (ra).
Is fiqh or school of thought of the imams I have mentioned above still present in 2021 or it didn’t reach us, just like what happened with the school of imam tabari ra ?
I started dedicating time to deen and came across imam zaid ibn ali (ra) while learning about imam abu hanifa ra. I am very much inspired by imam zaid ibn ali(ra) ,his uprising against umayyads (Amr Ma’ruf Nahi Al Munkar ) and not giving up even when his supporter abandon him. But I am confused whether his fiqh exists or not in 2021.The same for imam jafar (ra) and imam zain ul abideen (ra) whether their teaching exists today or not ?

I am myself hanafi but I find sunni view of supporting and not rebelling against tyrant muslim leaders very strange it goes against everything I have studied about islam uptill now.

Secondly I want to what was Imam abu hanifa ra view on rebelling against tyrant muslim leaders ? Many say that he was of the opinion known as Amr Ma’ruf Nahi Al Munkar and supported many rebellions but some say that he changed his view in the end. Can you please clarify on this issue as well ?

Thank you

Answer

Wa’alaykum as Salām wa rahmatullāhi wa barakātuhu,‎

Unfortunately, the Fiqh of these honourable members from the family of the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) did not reach us.

Furthermore, a lot have been distorted and interpolated by the Shias. Therefore, we cannot follow verdicts attributed to them.

Unfortunately, I do not know the answer of the second question.

And Allaah Ta’aala knows best
