A narration stating that Sayyidah Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha) would not experience menstruation

Is this Hadith authentic?

Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha) never experienced the blood of menstruation or parturition, for she was created from the waters of Jannah. This is because when the Messenger of Allah went on Mi’raj,  he entered Jannah, where he ate of its fruits and drank its water.

Answer

This seems to be a combination of two unreliable narrations:

1) Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) says that she would see Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) kissing Sayyidah Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha). When she inquired from Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) he said,

“O Humayra! On the night of Mi’raj, when I was entered into Jannah, I stood by a tree. I did not see a more beautiful tree in Jannah, nor did I see a tree with whiter leaves nor a tree with more tasty fruit than this tree. I ate a fruit from this tree which became a drop of sperm in my back. When I descended, I had intercourse with Khadijah (radiyallahu ‘anha) and she fell pregnant with Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha). When I long for the smell of Jannah I smell Fatimah. O Humayra! Fatimah is not like the women of the earth nor does she fall ill like they fall ill”

(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 1000 vol. 22)

The Muhaddithun have declared this Hadith a fabrication. They are also unanimous on the fact that Sayyidah Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha) was born well before Mi’raj.

(Refer: Lisanul Mizan, vol. 1 pg. 401 and  Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 1 pg. 409/410)

2) Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “My daughter is a human maiden. She does not experience menstruation…”

(Tarikh Baghdad, vol. 14 pg. 288)

The Muhaddithun have also declared this narration a fabrication.

(Tanzihush Shari’ah, vol. 1 pg. 412/412)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
