Abud Darda (radiyallahu ‘anhu) on illness expiating sins

What is the authenticity of the following?

On the authority of [Abur] Rabbab Al Qushayri (rahimahullah) who said:

“We entered upon Abud Darda (radiyallahu ‘anhu) to visit him, when a Bedouin entered upon him. So he said: Where is your Amir? Abud Darda was the Amir then. We said,  ‘He is complaining of some pain’. The Bedouin said,  ‘I have never complained of any pain’ or he said,  ‘I did not experience a headache ever’! Abud Darda (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said,  ‘Remove him from me, he will die with his sins’. I do not love that for every pain/sickness that I feel that I am given red camels. For verily, the pain/illness of a believer is an expiation for his sins”
