Can you take the Quran to the graveyard?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by DarulIftaBirmingham

Can you take the Quran to the graveyard?

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

Answer

One of the adaabs (etiquettes) when visiting the graveyard is to recite the Holy Quran silently. It is preferable to recite Surah Yaseen, Surah Mulk and the surahs from Surah Takaathur to the end of the Holy Quran.

(Ahsanul Fatawa p.196 v.4)

There is nothing wrong in taking the Holy Quran to the graveyard to recite it, especially for those who cannot read it from memory.
