Can we read Surahs and any other dua from Holy Quran during menses?

You can make prayers and also those verses of the Koran which consist the topic of prayers with the intention of praying, also, those prayers, which are mentioned in the prophetic traditions. Other than these two forms of prayers anything else is not allowed.
