Is it improper to lenthen the second rakaat more than the first?

Is it true that is one lengthens the second rakaat more than the first then the salaat will be makrooh? Please clarify according to Shafii madhab.

If there is just a small difference then there is no problem but if the difference is large then it is undesirable by scholars.
