Q: In Salaah, when sitting in jalsa position, is it sunnah to sit on the left foot with the right foot raised and the toes of the right foot facing the qiblah? The question is when sitting on the left foot is it also a sunnah to have the toes of the left foot facing the Qiblah?

(ويوجه أصابعه ) في المنصوبة ( نحو القبلة ) هو السنة في الفرض والنفل
وفي الرد المحتار: قوله ( في المنصوبة ) أي الأصابع الكائنة في الرجل المنصوبة قال في السراج يعني رجله اليمنى لأن ما أمكنه أن يوجهه إل القبلة فهو أولى ا هـ وصرح بأن المراد اليمنى في المفتاح والخلاصة والخزانة فقوله في الدرر رجليه بالتثنية فيه إشكال لأن توجه أصابع اليسرى المفترشة نحو القبلة تكلف زائد كما في شرح الشيخ إسماعيل لكن نقل القهستاني مثل ما في الدرر عن الكافي والتحفة ثم قال فيوجه رجله اليسرى إلى اليمنى وأصابعها نحو القبلة بقدر الاستطاعة ا هـ تأمل (رد المحتار 1/508)

reference of Fiqh Kitaab Shaami, to say the above is sunnah for definite, is there any reference available from books of Hadith Shariff?
A: This mas’alah has been explained by the Fuqaha. In matters of Deen we are commanded to follow the Fuqaha. The Fuqaha are those experts in Deen who after carrying out an extensive and comprehensive study of the Quraan, the Mubarak Ahaadith of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and the verdicts of the Sahaabah (with all the related sciences that are required to understand Deen), deduce the masaail of Deen and explain it to the Ummah. If you are qualified in Deen then you may refer to these sources and find the Hadith.
