Three talaaqs

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by

Q: If a woman asks for divorce from her husband for a valid reason, the husband refuses but after multiple requests and insistence her husband divorces her thrice. Is this divorce valid? Further after the divorce the woman doesn’t follow iddah (waiting period) i.e. she is a working woman and keeps on going for work till four months passed. What does Islam says about her? Is there any penalty? Can she now marry someone else?

A: Yes.

Yes, she could marry after the completion of the iddat. She needs to make taubah for not observing the iddat correctly.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
