Please mention what did Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) say when Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) wanted to marry the daughter of Abu Jahl.

Hereunder is the narration in question:
Miswar ibn Makhramah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) relates:
‘When Sayyiduna ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (radiyallahu ‘anhu) proposed to the daughter of Abu Jahl while he was married to Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha), I heard Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) addressing the people about that on this pulpit of his -and at that time I had already reached puberty-. He (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘Fatimah is from me and I fear that she will be tested in her din.’ Then he mentioned an in-law of his from the Banu ‘Abdu Shams [i.e. Abul ‘As ibnur Rabi’, the husband of Sayyidah Zaynab radiyallahu ‘anha] and praised him as an in-law, and said, ‘He spoke to me and told the truth. He promised me and kept his promise. I do not make the lawful unlawful and I do not make the unlawful lawful but, by Allah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and the daughter of the enemy of Allah can not be joined together.’
Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) then abandoned this proposal.

The last part of the Hadith: ‘I do not make the lawful unlawful and I do not make the unlawful lawful but, by Allah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and the daughter of the enemy of Allah can not be joined together.’
This part clearly states that this is actually the rule of Shari’ah; that the daughter of the Nabi of Allah, and the daughter of the enemy of Allah cannot be married to same man.
