“You should wear white garments dress your living ones in them and shroud your dead in them, for they are among the best of your garments.”
Answer
Imams Nasai and Ahmad (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith.
Sayyiduna Samurah ibn Jundub (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “You should [wear] white garments, your living ones should wear them and shroud your deceased in them for they are the best of your garments.”
