Is the following Hadith with the mentioned wordings authentic? Kindly provide the reference.

‘Alaykum bi sunnati wa sunnatil khulafa ir rashidin al mahdiyyin’

Translation: Hold on to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided khulafa


The hadith in question is part of a longer narration, recorded in the following primary Hadith sources:

1) Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2676

2) Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 4599

3) Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 42

4) Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 5

5) Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 1 pg. 96

Imams Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibban, Hakim and Hafiz Dhahabi (rahimahumullah) have declared the Hadith authentic (sahih)
