Extreme waswasah

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

I have a question, i am going through a change in my life that is from a partying and enjoying life i am trying to go towards good islamic life, but i am facing some problem that i cant ask any mufti or anyone face to face.

The problem is when i offer namaz or i am in namaz somewhere inside  me, a voice comes which tells bad stuff sometimes it is abusive words and some time it comes for even ALLAH naauzubillah… i try to speak out loud wat eva surah i am reciting or takbeer to stop these toughts or wat eva it is. it mostly happens while m in namaz or while m going to bed,

i belived its shaitan, Last nite it happend again , in Farz and witr thn i cried n i was scared wat punishment ill get i offered 2 nafil again and cried ALLAH to forgive me.. still it was like my inside is fighting and after that i went to bed same thoughts were trying to capture me i was saying astugfirullah thn i recited ayatul kursi it helped a bit but in the moring (fajr ) prayer it still happend ( but i had more control ) .

Some Times stupid Athietic Question comes to my mind that wheter ALLAH is there or propeht was there? when i know ALLAH is true .. My Nabi S A W W ( P B U H ) is prophet of ALLAH. Angels are there. Jesus (Essa P B U H) is the prophet Of ALLAH.

My Question is

What I am Facing ?

How To Deal With It?

How To Stop my self from these thoughts during namaz !!

How to Seek ALLAH’s Forgivennes for What ive done?

Answer

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The solution to your question is simple.

We are obliged to maintain correct belief about Allah Ta‘āla and His Dīn. The thoughts you are experiencing are involuntary. The doubts that are troubling your mind are wasawis and whisperings of shaytān. Such doubts should be dispelled and ignored. Say to yourself that you have the correct belief and do not give any heed to such thoughts.

You have experienced the effects of reciting Ayah al-Kursi and how it has helped in removing the wasawis, continue to do so abundantly. Furthermore, when you experience such thoughts then recite, اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم  (I seek protection in Allah from the cursed Satan) and لاَ حَوْلَ وَ لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِالله‏‏  (There is no might or power except with Allah)

And Allah Ta‘āla Knows Best
