During a Jamaat, when one has completed reciting the Du?aa after the Durood-e-Ibrahim, and is waiting for the Imam to say Salaam, can one recite some other Qur?anic Du?aas during this wait time?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Also, what is the Du’aa after Durood-e-Ibrahim called? Please provide the translation and transliteration of this. If you have the related hadith for this Du’aa, please provide it.

Answer

A very important question to which the answer is that one can and may read
any Du’aa which comes in the Qur’aan and/or authentic Ahaadith. This Du’aa
is known as the Du’aa after Durood in Salaat.

There have been a few which have been narrated. However, the common one is,
‘Allaahumma inniy dhalamtu nafsiy dhulman katheeran faghfir liy maghfiratan
min indika. Wa rhamniy innaka antal ghafoorur raheem.’ (Translation: O
Allah, verily I have wronged myself, a grat wrong and verily non forgives
sins except you. So forgive from your forgiveness and show mercy on me.
Verily you are most forgiving and merciful).

The Hadith of this Du’aa is narrated by Abu Bakr wherein he asked Rasulullah
(Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) to teach him a Du’aa which he may read in
Salaat.
