Q: Is salaah valid if a person is wearing clothes that are slightly visible (by this I mean like normally every clothes has a slight visibility in it and white clothes which are also slightly visible) not absolutely clear?
A: If the private area is not at all visible the namaaz will be valid.
Q: when you say private area, you don’t mean the entire satr but what we know as private area. Is this correct?
A: Private area refers to all the areas of satr.
Q:
-
The area between the navel and the waist if that is slightly visible ( due to a white t-shirt or normal light color t-shirts), is my salaah valid ?
-
If not, I can’t remember besides one time where were my t-shirt was light but I have thoughts that it may have occurred, do I only have to repeat that one salaah?
A:
-
The satr starts from below the navel. This area must be covered.
-
If you are not sure then it is not compulsory to repeat the namaaz. However, it is preferable to repeat that salaah.
