Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

There are a few authentic narrations that prove Nabī Sallallāhu Alaihi Wa Sallam had a shadow.  On the other hand there are only two weak narrations that prove Nabī Sallallāhu Alaihi Wa Sallam did not have a shadow.  Hence, the correct view is that Nabī Sallallāhu Alaihi Wa Sallam did have a shadow.[1]

Ruqyah is an Arabic word that refers to the recitation of words followed by blowing on the afflicted individual.  Performing ruqyah is permissible in Sharīah.  However, one should ensure that only verses of the Qurān, Dua‘s from Ahādīth, or the names of Allāh Ta‘ālā are recited. [2]
