    As Salaamu alaykum Mufti Saheb,   I had previously asked about inheritance.  Mufti saheb advised that the estate be divided into 216 parts; i.e each son receives 34 parts (there are 4 parts) wife receives 27 parts mother 26 parts daughter 17 parts However this adds up to 206 parts and not 216. Could mufti saheb please clarify this. im awaiting a reply as estate needs to be divided correctly, Jazakallahu Khair

    Our family consisted of 10 brothers and two sisters. Both our parents are dead. One of our brothers died in 1978 leaving behind wife, four sons and two daughters….how is the estate distributed?

    Assalam u alaikum dear sir i want to ask a question about inheritance we are three sisters naming 1) Safia majeed . 2) Shereen mehtab. 3) Parveen shams. The problem is the sister of my father naming zulekha (dead) unmarried and dont have any children was the head mistress of a local school and have two brothers and one sister they all died before her she left some property in which there  are two plots in karachi. the childrens (only boys) of my paternal uncles and maternal uncles lives there and distributes all the rent incomes and when we say that we also have a share in this property they says that girls dont have any share in the property there are approximately 10 boys and 10 girls who are involved in this dispute. the complete list of all the people involved is listed below. Zulekha (property owner) dead. list of brothers and sisters Mohd Usman.(brother) have 2 sons and 3 daughters. Mohd Hashim. have 6 sons and 4 daughters.
