The use of Condoms and Tongue.
Answer
This question is in the minds of many people. Some are too scared to ask, others do. What we need to understand here is that pleasures have limits. Today it’s this question, tomorrow it maybe something else – this is a problem.
Three things Should be noted here:
- The root of the problem
- The cause
- And the solution
- The root is the misunderstanding of the word pleasure. We shouldn’t take pleasure from anything and everything, otherwise paedophiles will want their way. Most people abhor pornography. Many MP’s lost their position and job due to them being exposed with this habit.
- The cause is our exposure to such things on TV, computers, newspapers and porn magazines.
- The solution is to understand that we can’t and shouldn’t go for every pleasurable thing. We need to have some control on our ego. Also to understand that logic is not enough for guidance. Allah is our creator and he gives guidance.
Keeping that guidance in mind, the husband is allowed to look at the wife’s breasts and to kiss them, because this can turn her on and there is no najasat there. However looking at the private parts is debatable, one Ummul Mu’mineen radiyallahu anha says:
“I never looked at his private part”. (Mishkat)
One Hadith say:
“When one of you goes to his wife, they should both cover themselves and should not stay naked like two camels”.
When this is for looking at them, imagine how would sucking etc. be allowed, especially when there is a risk of najasat going into the mouth. There is also the matter of hayaa, so we should be careful.
May Allah give us the understanding of Deen and protect us. Ameen.
