Is it allowed to take photograph of one year old boy or girl? Could you kindly explain in detail?

Answer:
There is a difference of opinion amongst the Ulamaa with regards to a photograph of a human taken on a digital camera. Some are of the opinion that it does not take the ruling of Tasweer (picture), which is prohibited in the Ahadeeth and others say that it is Tasweer and therefore Haraam. It will be best for you not to engage in such acts.
