Eating on a Red Tablecloth

Question:

Assalamualaikum Q1-Is it Sunnah to eat on Red colour Dastarkhan?

Q2-Is there any virtue mentioned in Hadith regarding eating on Red colour Dastarkhan? Wassalaam

Answer:

We have not come across any Hadith regarding the prohibition of using a red Dastarkhan.  That is why we can’t say anything with regard to it and we have also not found any prohibition regarding it in the books of jurisprudence, therefore one can use a red Dastarkhan to eat on.
