Another version of the narration regarding the reward for saying ‘La ilaha illallah Allahu Akbar Wa la Hawla wa la Quwwata illa billah’

I have read the Hadith answer regarding the virtue of reading ‘La ilaha illallahu wallahu akbaru wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.’

I have heard another Hadith which adds the words ‘Subhanallah’ and ‘Alhamdulillah’ also. Which version is correct?

Answer

Imam Hakim (rahimahullah) has recorded this version of the narration, with the additional words. He has declared it authentic and ‘Allamah Dhahabi concurs.

(Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 1 pg. 503)

You may recite whichever version you prefer. See the other version here.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
