A narration regarding Yunus (‘alayhis salam) in the belly of the whale

I want to know whether this narration is correct especially the part

Answer

Imam Abu Hatim (rahimahullah) has recorded the words you have cited with a weak chain.

(Tafsir Ibn Abi Hatim, Surah Ambiya, Verse: 87)

Imam Ibn Jarir and Imam Bazzar (rahimahumallah) have also recorded a similar narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) with a weak chain.

(Musnad Bazzar; Kashful Astar, Hadith: 2254. Refer: Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 7 pg. 98)

Hafiz Ibn Kathir (rahimahullah) states that these narrations support each other and gain collective strength.

(Al Bidayah Wan Nihayah, vol. 1 pg. 334)

The narration in question is regarding Yunus (‘alayhis salam) in the belly of the whale. When he called out ‘La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz zalimin‘, the Angels said, ‘O Allah! This is a familiar voice coming from an unfamiliar place’. Allah Ta’ala informed them that the voice was Yunus (‘alayhis salam). The Angels then  requested Allah Ta’ala to have mercy on him and he wast cast onto the shore.
