My question pertains to the Hadith “A believer is intelligent, smart, wary/alert”
Can you please tell me the authenticity of this Hadith and if it would be suitable to quote.
Answer:
The Hadith in question is recorded by Qadhi Al Quda’i and others.
(Musnadush Shihab, vol. 1 pg. 107 Hadith: 89)
However one particular narrator in this chain has been unanimously declared a fabricator. The Hadith is therefore not suitable to quote.
