A person will be shown his abode in Jannah or Jahannam daily in the grave

I received this message and would like to know if the narration is authentic?

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“When anyone of you dies, he will be shown his abode in the morning and in the evening, if he belongs to the people of Jannah, he will be shown his place in Jannah and if he is from the people of Jahannam, he will be shown his place in Jahannam and it will be said, ‘This is your abode.’ and this will continue until the Day of Qiyamah.” (Ibn Majah)

Answer

In addition to the reference cited above, Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have also recorded this narration. The Hadith is therefore authentic.

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 1379 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2866)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
