A form of salutations (durud)

I know there are many forms of salutations (durud). I wanted to know if this durud is correct?

‘Allahumma salli ‘ala Muhammadiw wa ‘ala alihi wa barik Wassallim’

Answer

This form is durud is certainly correct. You may recite it.

I have not seen this exact form of salutations in a Hadith. However you may recite a form of salutations not found in Hadith, without attributing it to Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
