Nabi (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said:

“The [secrets and treasures of the] Quran are never ending”

This is part of a famous lengthy Hadith recorded in Sunan Tirmidhi, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah and several other Hadith sources on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu’anhu)

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2906, Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 30629 & Musnad Ahmad, vol.1 pg.91)

See the full narration here.

This statement also appears in a similar Hadith that is reported by Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu’anhu).

(Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 30630)
