The Hur (maiden of Jannah) of Sayyiduna ‘Umar ibn Al Khattab

Kindly provide the reference for the following:

It is said that when Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) did Isra’ Mi’raj and saw paradise, he saw a very shy Hur of dark skin. And he asked Jibril, whose Hur is that. Jibril answered that is a Hur for your best friend Umar ibn Khattab, When he read Quran about the beauty of Jannah he wished in his heart for a Hur of dark skin, with blue and red eyes, and very shy. Since your Sahabah always do Allah’s commands immediately, Allah manifests ‘Umar’s wishes immediately too.

Answer

I have not come across this description of Sayyiduna ‘Umar’s maiden in Jannah in any authentic Hadith collection.

Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim and others have recorded the following narration:

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that once while seated with Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), he said:

“I was asleep and saw myself in Jannah. Suddenly I saw a woman who was performing ablution beside a palace. I asked, ‘Who does this palace belong to’? They [Jibril/Angels] replied, ‘For ‘Umar’. I remembered how possessive ‘Umar is [over his women]. So I turned away. Sayyiduna ‘Umar wept and said, ‘How can I be possessive when it was only you O Messenger of Allah”?

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 3680 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2395)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
