Can you please confirm the reference for this version of the Hadith ‘Every child is born on fitrah’
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“Every child is born on ‘fitrah’ (the natural inclination to Islam), however the child’s parents make him a Jew or Christian. It is as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?”
Answer:
Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have recorded this version on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu).
