Answer

2. It will be permissible to use tablets, creams and sprays in order to enhance ones sexual ability and it will be necessary to do so if one is unable to fully fulfil his wife’s conjugal rights. However, it would better to have intercourse according to ones natural ability, as the artificial substances later proof to be detrimental to the health. Sexual ability should rather be enhanced through suitable foods.

One can cohabit with his wife in dim light but it is better if it be done in the dark.

3. Allamah Shaami states that the prophet (S.A.W.) used the ‘Aqeeq’ stone (cornelian: dull red or reddish white coloured stone). The jurists have permitted ‘Aqeeq’ and ‘Hashb’ (jasper). If the ring itself is silver then any kind of stone can be used on it. The ring should be worn on the little finger of the left hand. (Raddul Muhtaar, Vol. 5, Page 254)

4. If the employer grants permission to use these facilities then it will be permissible to use them, otherwise not.

5. It will be permissible to look and speak to her over the phone or in the presence of other family members if the mind is kept free from lust.

6. The beard is one of the differentiating features between the male and the female in which lies the beauty of the male. Therefore when a female looks at a male with a beard, she looks at him in his masculinity and this increases her interest in him. Furthermore, having lots of hair is a sign of healthiness, therefore a male who has a thick beard which is well kept will be more attractive to females.

7. The husband can sing poems in front of his wife without using musical instruments. (Raddul Muhtaar, Vol. 5, Page 246, Fataawaa Rashidiyyah, Page 555)

8. Fadhaa’il-e-A’maal is a book in which the author has mentioned such Ahaadith and stories which encourages and creates the interest to do righteous deeds within a person. Indeed there are some weak Ahaadith and stories in it, but the object with which these narrations and stories are mentioned in this book permits relating such narrations and stories. The author has also forwarded the reference for each of the narrations and stories and did not merely relate them by making them up. Whosoever has any kind of objection against these narrations and stories can look into them again and practice on that which he thinks is more correct and acceptable. The author cannot be termed guilty in this issue.
