Question:

After ghusl from intimacy if one walks and urinates a bit and makes sure throughout and after ghusl nothing has come out but then a short while after ghusl he realizes a sticky thin fluid like Madhi comes out and not Maniy (semen) would he have to do ghusl again or is the urine/walking/sleeping ruling just for the emission of Maniy after ghusl?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

There are three fluids, which come out of one’s private parts.

  1. Mani: The discharge of semen accompanied by sexual lust. This discharge tends to be thick. Ghusl is necessary for it
  2. Madhi: Also known as prostatic fluid. It is a white thin, sticky fluid that is released during foreplay or kissing. Wudu is necessary for it.
  3. Wadi is a white cloudy fluid that is thin and warm and has no smell. It is generally released after urinating and occasionally before. Wudu is necessary for it.[i]

Regarding your question, the discharge which comes out is Madhi. Ghusl would not be compulsory in such a situation. However, wudhu will be necessary.

Only Allah knows best.
