A woman has to cover her feet during prayer. So would she have to wear socks in order for her feet to be covered? And does that mean that she would have to wash her feet every time she makes wudu, and then put socks on for prayer? Would she be able to wear the same socks, or would she have to put on clean socks for every prayer? Say for example, she makes wudu for Fajr, puts clean socks on, prays Fajr, and leaves those socks on until Dhuhr. She then takes the socks off while she makes wudu for Dhuhr, and then puts on the same socks. Would that be permissible?
In order for her feet to be covered while she prays, she can wear socks that are not transparent or wear a very long skirt that would fall and gather over her feet, and not move such that it uncovers the feet during the movements of her prayer.
Every time she makes wudu, she must wash her feet in the wudu, cover her feet and pray. She could also wipe over her socks during wudu as long as they meet the following conditions:

As for her having to change her socks after every wudu, that is not the case. She can wear the same socks over and over again for her prayers, as long as they are not affected with filth. In the above example, she is allowed to wear same socks to pray dhuhr again.
