Assalamu Alaikum Respected Shaykh

Please can you advise me on the following ruling:

If a female has an orgasm / reaches climax due to foreplay without having intercourse is it necessary for her to have a gusl?

Yes, she has to perform ghusl, due to the releasing of semen.
