How to respond if objections are raised upon majlis of durood

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Tafseer Raheemi

I have tried to incorporate a small durood shareef majlis, after Isha (it is after Isha because that is when most people are available) salah every Thursday. Recently I have come across some individuals who are calling it bid’ah, I haven’t argued or contested the issue but politely mentioned that if they do not agree than that is so. I am not knowledgeable in this area, please can you advise me whether there is an answer that I may give them which may change their view?

Secondly, over the last year I have made a firm intention to become a hafiz, over the last year and a half. I have studied tajweed and memorised as much Quran as I can learn with my ustaadh in my home city. This Ramadhan we have began performing taraweeh salah together. Please make dua that Allah makes it easy for me to memorise and understand the Quran.

Walaikumussalam,
Why don’t u call some good alim, who has love for durood sharif, to come and deliver a speech in praise of Rasulullah Sallahu alayhi wa sallam, and while mentioning his huqooq, he shud comment on durood sharif being his haq, and then explain the importance and benefits of durood sharif, this shud wipe out the doubts and benefit the community,
May allah make ur hifz easy nd place the Quran in ur heart , ameen ,wassalam
