Since medical expenses are so expensive and nearly unaffordable in this country, is it okay to buy Medical Insurance?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org
Since medical expenses are so expensive and nearly unaffordable in this country, is it okay to buy Medical Insurance. Allah Forbid, if someone has to go to hospital for any reason, that person will have to pay the medical bills for rest of his life. Can we buy full coverage on the automobile, specially if the car is very expensive. Full coverage is not required by the law but it is to protect your car and medical bill if any incurred. The government requires for car owners to have 20/40 liability policy, 20/40 refers to 20thousand per person and maximum 40thousand per accident. If we only buy what is “required” and if the accident expense are more than that, then it will come out of our pockets and if we can’t pay that amount than the other party can take our personal property including our house if owned by us. Please shed some light. I read “rabana aati fidduniya” in witr, do I have to do sajida sahoo?
A person should get a physical treatment for problems like these when they occur. It is recommended that you eat stuff that would strengthen your memory. There are myriad of methods in medicine to cure this issue. Some doctors’ suggestion is that when the mind is divided and loses concentration this kind of syndrome takes place. People should learn how to concentrate and at the same time they should make dua. Some scholars have suggested that a person should put his hand on his head after every obligatory prayer and recite 11 times ‘ya qawi’ with the darood in the beginning and ending of it. This will increase one’s memory power.
