The question you asked has some mistakes in it. On the Day of Judgment relations will come to use but only those relationships that are based on the faith. The Prophet’s peace be upon him relationship with his relatives would only be useful if they are Muslim. It is obvious that the Prophet’s relationship is more special, but in general, only people who share the same belief of Islam would be able to benefit from each other on the Day of Judgment. The meaning of this is that those people who believe and whose progeny believes then the offspring of this believing parents will be reunited with them and nothing will be decreased from their actions. In another words, they might be of a lesser rank with less good deeds but they would be rewarded more. So, that they become the means of coolness for the parents. So, only those relationships will be beneficial which are based on faith and the ones that are not based on faith would not be beneficial. This is what it means in the verse of the Koran, where it says that relationships will not benefit that day. It either means only the faithful relationships will benefit or there are many stages in it such that during the time of reckoning, no one can benefit anyone. But when the reckoning is over, by virtue of relationship the hardship would be lessened, and people would be able to help each other.
