My father is following the JAMAH TABLIGH, he likes to do Dawah and worship but has no responsibility in the family. Is it true during the Prophet’s lifetime that Sahaba went out to Dawah and left the family behind for ALLAH to take care? I’m very sorry if my question is being offensive to any individual or JAMAH TABLIGH.
The work of ‘tabligh’ is very important. Praying is obligatory and similarly taking care of the rights of one’s wife and children is also mandatory. It would not be allowed for a person to abandon his family rights and then go out in the path of Allah. We cannot stipulate our situation with the time of the companions because during the time things were different. During their time, there used to be the direction of the Prophet peace be upon him and no one could compromise his instructions. Now, we don’t have a situation like that, therefore, we must be mindful of all of our duties before we go out in the path of Allah. And this is the same thing that the elders of the effort advice.
