Must Muslim women cover their face and how to wear it with unsupportive parents?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftisays.com
I have heard many different opinions with regards to women covering their faces however, I am still a little confused. Could you please clarify for me whether the covering of the face is a fardh on all believing women?
I know many families who find it difficult to even come to terms with their daughters wearing the hijab and the jilbab. If the ulamaa do confirm that it is a fardh then what would be the best way to go about wearing it, aswell as pleasing the parents, as the family are so against the whole idea of wearing even the jilbab. Explaining to them that the Allah has commanded all women to cover, is still a great mission within itself.
JazakAllah khair for your time.
Wassalam.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
The wearing of both Hijab and Niqab is compulsory on women. I cannot see any alternative to wearing it. In the event one is conflicted between a compulsory obligation and the displeasure of others it is necessary that the command of Shariah take precedents. Insha-Allah these people who strive towards pleasing Allah سبحانه و تعالي in the face of conflict will receive more reward from Allah Ta’ala. والله اعلم
