Question:
What are the sources of those Ahadeeth? Are these Ahadeeth considered Sahih?
1. Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa sallam) said, ‘The differences
among my Ulama is a mercy.’
2. Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa sallam) said, ‘The Muslims can’t unite on something wrong’
Answer:
1) There is a difference of opinion amongst the Muhaditheen (Transmitters of prophetic traditions) with regards to the Sanad (the uninterrupted chain of authorities on which a Hadith is based) of this narration. Some have gone up to the extent of describing it as a non-Hadith and proven it to be devoid of a Sanad, while others have established its Sanad to be correct. However, the meaning or concept of this narration is correct and not in anyway against the teachings of Islam, as different views on a certain matter give rise to flexibility, which is a mercy.

2) This is an authentic (Saheeh) Hadith and found in a number of Hadith books.
