What is the level of authenticity of this narration?
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّكِّ فِي الْحَقِّ بَعْدَ الْيَقِينِ
Answer:
Imams Ibn Abi Shaybah and Abu Nu’aym Al Asbahani (rahimahumallah) have recorded this du’a of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).
(Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 29754 with slight variation in the wording and Tarikh Asbahan: 1376, 1509)
Shaykh Muhammad ‘Awwamah (hafizahullah) has pointed out a weak narrator that appears in both chains.
Transliteration and translation
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minash shakki fil haqqi ba’dal yaqin
O Allah! I seek Your protection from having doubt [in Din] after being certain/convinced
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
