How authentic is the following Hadith and what is the translation?

ما أحد أحب إليه المدح من الله

Answer

Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “There is none who loves to be praised more than Allah Ta’ala….”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 5220 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 6923)
