The du’a Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) recited on the Conquest of Makkah

Is this du’a mentioned in any Hadith?

Answer

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) recited this du’a on the day of the Conquest of Makkah. Imam Abu Dawud, Imam Ahmad (rahimahumallah) and other Muhaddithun have recorded these words.

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 4535, Musnad Ahmad, vol. 5 pg. 412)

Other Muhaddithun have recorded slightly different words.

(Refer: Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 2628, Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 6011)

Translation

There is no Deity except Allah alone, He has fulfilled His promise, assisted His servant, and single handedly defeated the [enemy].

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
