Placing the hand under the cheek when sleeping

Answered according to Hanafi Fiqh by

Is this correct?

“Place your [right] hand under your [right] cheek when sleeping as done by Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)”

Yes, Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration. Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports, “When Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would retire to bed, he would place his [right] hand under his [right] cheek…”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 6314. Refer: Fathul Bari, Hadith: 6314)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
